Now that PUBG is returning to India as Battlegrounds Mobile India which can be abbreviated as BGMI. So yes we can call it BGMI or BMI but let me tell you that we Indian have not forgotten the name PUBG and it is very likely that we will keep calling it as PUBG as now we are used to it.
