How many games will I able to keep if I only have 512 GB SSD storage

Well, it actually depends on what type of and how many games you are looking to store in it.
512 GB SSD roughly turns out to be 450 GB, You can only store 2-3 big games like PUBG PC with GTA 5, Also they need some empty space to run efficiently.
If you are planning to store medium-sized games or small games then you can store 5-6 such games with no problem.
However, the problem comes when you need to do something else on the laptop, such as downloading or using it other than gaming, you will be left with very little space to have anything else. Also, there will be a problem if you want to add more games without deleting the old ones.
SSDs are fast and efficient but having only 512 SSDs may not be enough for gaming in the long term so it is advised that you have a combination of both SSD and HDD in your Laptop. Like most gaming laptops today have both SSD and HDD to increase performance and at the same time provide enough space.

256 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD
512GB SSD and 1 TB HDD
Today these are easily available in mid-range laptops.
