No, as of now cosmic byte gamepads do not work on Mac OS so it will not work on MacBook Air. Also, there is currently no way you will be able to run cosmic byte gamepad on MacBook because the drivers are not supported by Mac. Most of the gamepads today in the budget range only work with Windows 10, 8, 7, and Windows XP
